What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for agriculture related job. Besides this more then 10 years I have worked as a Manager in different agriculture related development project. I like to work in the area of arboriculture, Horticulture farm,Nursery, Agro-forestry etc.

What nationality are you?

By born I am a Bangladeshi

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Bengali (Native) and English: Speaking - good, Writing- good, Listening-Satisfactory, Reading- Satisfactory.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I like to work in such type of country those are environmentally sound, Social security and safety net is high, Politically fare. And obviously secular.

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked in Peoples Republic of Maldives for two years. I worked there as an 'External Agriculture Consultant". I have also worked their for Tsunami Victims agriculture dependents.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I have no visa to work other countries.

What field do you currently work in?

Presently I am working in the area of agriculture as a project manager. The project is mainly working for the poor farmers livelihoods development through their livestock and relevant agriculture activities.

What fields have you worked in before?

Horticultural development, Nursery development, Vegetables cultivation, Training module development and training facilitation, Farm and project Management.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have completed Bachelor of Agriculture in Science (Honors) and for better to do I have also completed Masters in Government and Politics. All the degrees are from Bangladesh. At same I have received lot of trainings on Ecological agriculture,Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Nursery Establishment etc.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Basic formal education is a must and then skill base education. Because of each and every jobs needs some skills. Without skills nobody can perform his/her job perfectly and qualitatively. Skills makes a person to perform a tasks perfectly. Without skill base education no one can succeed his life.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others means work with a group or team. The benefit of team works is very positive. We all are living in a society and with out society peoples can't live. So when peoples are work with others that case they feel encourage to see the others good work and he/she also tried best to do. On the other hand one can get assistance how to do better in his/her development area. Besides this group work ensure timeliness, competitiveness, quality of work, commitment etc.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Actually the benefit work alone are can do work with out disturbance, enhanced self motivation and quality of sharp work, Thematic job etc.

What was your worst working experience?

My worst working experiences are once i have worked in a river basin areas peoples development. So one of our target was to transfer the modern vegetables cultivation technology among them. So to do better success we have bought some new variety of vegetables seed to give the poor farmers. But our manager didn't allowed to give training before handing over the seeds. He told that they are farmers so they off course know how to grow vegetables. Accordingly we have distributed the seeds. After some day's later we went to see the performance but more then 90% farmers didn't grown vegetables properly due to ignorance of the variety how to cultivate. So our initiative flopped.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Participatory management and giving recognition to others good work are the two major lessons in my life. Rather then this demand graven work ensure success of work. That case we should know the peoples needs and their choice, culture etc. Other wise no initiative will be succeeded.

What unique skills do you have?

I am a good team building worker. I know how to make a good team. Besides this I am skilled on management of nursery establishment,Orchard management, development project management.I can give hardship.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Sincerity, Commitment, skills, Competencies, Management, Distribution of work, Hardship, excellence and Sharing.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Farm and project management.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Hiding of any failure and lack of interpersonal skills.
