What qualifications do you hold? Gcses,A and O levels, Car mechanics, eletrician city in guilds ect.Auxcillary nurse,Car spray/body work. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills,i tend to think a personal interest in something makes you want to do it well and work things out your own way. With the help of manuals, books, video and practice most anything can be achieved without a classroom. Also after strting a few years in college i found i had to start way below where i was already at and ended with things i would never use again in the real world, and so lost interest quickly. Ive seen many people pass years of training never to use their qualifications due to fed up with the subject or not find a job without the practical and social experience gained. Describe the benefits of working with others Variety is the spice of life! People bring meaning, culture, laughter and a wealth of hard earned life knowledge. You never stop learning and at different ages we realise whats important to us,to our family and finally to the rest of the world. Being happy starts with courtesy to others ,manners which are free but priceless, and chance to share what we know between us to benefit us all.Humour, honesty, trust and good works mates makes any job a joy. Describe the benefits of working alone Whether u work alone or not?, generally the reason you work is in some way or other beneficial to others. I like to work alone when its takes careful concentration and a high degree og precision and accuracy. So quiet and stillness may be what it takes. Also high levels of mental ability can be achieved when alone without distraction. Also you have to like your own company if you hope to get on with others,as all work is linked like a chain and you can be but part of a very long chain. What was your worst working experience? Meat factory. Its cold..very cold and kept me indoors the whole time, and separated from other people doing one action over and over for hours. No interest or ways to advance. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Always trust your instincts, check over yr work before ending, and dont be afraid to speak out if you have a problem or possible better idea.Lastly listen carefully to directions, always be respectfull to peers and the public. What unique skills do you have? I have high morels and believe everyone should be treated fairly, and have their say. I will go out of my way and even do work in my own time if i feel it needs it to be its best. Im a perfectionist, and am great with the public and always get people coming back or into conversations that can bring in more work.If im under a bonnet...or taking something apart or back together? its then im content! What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working with all types of vehicles and being taught all the new ways and tools needed to fix or build them. Test driver as i have a ear for hearing problems and knowing what it is. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Basically what i said above. New advances in technology and saftey, how things work and how to make it do it better if i can? Teaching others. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Getting same job type repeatidly, and working in cold or wet conditions, not being able to learn a new thing everyday and working with depressing people or who are uninterested in what they are doing. Also having boss's treat the elderly and women with little sense that they feel they can make them have work done or made worried about their cars safty unduely. DO YOU AND YOYR CO WORKERS HAVE A GOOD LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP? AND DO YOU GIVE YOUR BEST AND WANT A JOB WHERE YOU FEEL YOU CAN PROGRESS ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP? I want to have any and every training oppotunity going and learn to be the best at the job in hand. I want a job for life if possible so i can provide for my family without worries. Also my wife is keen to do all the above within her own skills as stated at top.
