seeking employmentWhat type of job are you looking for? I have enjoyed a varied career to date but currently work in the construction industry andI would like to continue in this field. However, as can be seen from the remainder of this virtual interview, I will adapt and apply myself to most any endeavour. What nationality are you? I am English. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English is my native language, and I speak a little Spanish, although I am undertaking a home study course to further improve my Spanish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I have recently relocated to Benidorm, Spain, and would ideally like to find employment in this area. However, I am prepared to relocate should a suitable opportunity be availed. What countries have you worked in? I have worked all over the UK, and in Spain. My work in Spain has been centred around the Costa Blanca region. What countries do you have a visa to work in? At the present moment I do not hold a visa. What field do you currently work in? I am currently working in the construction industry. I have been selfemployed for the last 7 years. What fields have you worked in before? In the past I have worked in: automotive industry, film processing, construction, entertainment security, leisure industry (Landlord), film and television industry (Location manager). What qualifications do you hold? I hold a UCTT grade 2 qualification as a free ance film location manager, I am a qualified and professional licensee. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? A formal education is important, but I consider skills to be of greater value. The reason for my view is that formal education afford theorhetical skills, where as "hands on" experience lends itself to the diverse envioronments encountered in a working life. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with other people as part of a team can be very rewarding, in that it allows a person to broaden their horizons with the cross sections of personality and attributes. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone has its benefits when required. I have found that it offers a greater degree of latitude when trying to achieve the highest possible standards in your given endeavours. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience was being involved in a kitchen fire. The incident arose as a direct act of negligence by the establishment owners. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? For me the most important lesson I have learnt is to be adaptable, pliable, honest, dedicated and ambitious. It is these ideals that allow me to continue striving to suceed. What unique skills do you have? I am a very adaptable person. I have a very diverse working experience, from which I am able to apply myself with utmost integrity and professionalism. I have worked "white collar" and hands on. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Such is my varied working history, my dream job will shortly be presented to me via prospective employers reading this interview. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? In my current field of endeavour, I find filling in the blank canvass of a project the most interesting. To be able to create from the initial, and deliver the project. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I woud have to say the least interesting aspect of my work, is working in the rain. However, such is the nature of the construction industry, this is a small and irregular occurence that is readily combatted. What are your personal ambitions? My ambitions lead me to be the best, in any situation. That drive for sucess lends my attributes to be a value asset to any and all potential employers. How can potential employers contact you?
