applicationWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a nurse job in a hospital, clinic or community setting. But preferably as emergency room staff nurse. What nationality are you? I'm a Filipino. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Fluent in Tagalog and English. Good in spoken and written Spanish. I took up 6 units of Spanish class in college. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I preferred Spain or Italy. The language is not that hard/difficult to learn and understand. Furthermore, a change of a more challenging setting with desirable labor laws. What countries have you worked in? I have been working here in the Philippines for more than two years now. What countries do you have a visa to work in? None at present. But I'll be working on that. if I am not mistaken, obtaining a visa is easy as long as you are not banned from doing so. What field do you currently work in? Health care setting. In an emergency room department as staff nurse. What fields have you worked in before? Health care setting also but it's a voluntary community health nursing. What qualifications do you hold? I'm a registered/licensed nurse and a licensed intravenous therapist also. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both! formal education is worthless without proper application of it. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others develops camaraderie. Working with others develops cooperation, cooperation that is essential in completing tasks. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone develops my sense of independence. Independence in which i could grow, stand on my own feet, and fulfill things to be a better person. What was your worst working experience? No worst working experience so far. But what i can consider to anybody as worst is attacking a situation without proper knowledge or orientation of what's happening about it. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Having patience and persevering things that i really wanted to do which is helping people in a holistic manner. What unique skills do you have? I'm good in arts. I'm also a band Vocalist. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Dream job? Well, it's free to dream anyway. To be an ambassador of education around the world, most especially in Africa. Helping others gives the best feeling ever! What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I consider dealing to patients with different personalities is the most interesting aspect. I'm not just there providing care to them but also learning new things like of course the culture of different nationality. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Everything in my field of expertise is considered interesting. Something that is said to be LEAST interesting is NOT CHALLENGING as well. Does compensation matters with you? Honestly, no one can afford me. Why? Because the time and effort that i am to spend in this profession is worthless! But of course, practical thinking, it depends. If i were to be deployed to Africa, I'll be willing to work there even for free or as a volunteer. Let's just say Africa is still progressing and I'd like to contribute something for that progress.
