Hi,, I am looking for a caregiving job in spainWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a caregiving job or household job. What nationality are you? I am a Filipino What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I am fluent in english. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am looking forward to work in Spain. The nmain reason is, because of high salary compare to asian working countries. What countries have you worked in? My first job was in Singapore,2nd was in hongkong, 3rd in macau. I am currently employed in taiwan by a taiwanese family. What countries do you have a visa to work in? singapore, hongkong, taiwan... What field do you currently work in? I am now working as a care taker with a 3 years contract.. What fields have you worked in before? Domestic helper,all around household duties including caring for an old lady and taking care of pet dogs,2 german shepherd dogs and an autralian maltese. What qualifications do you hold? I've been to college but only 1st year,in education course. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think,both. . when you have a formal education,it is easy to get a higher pay job and less discrimination from the society. Skills also is very important. Even if one person didn't able to finish his/her studies but if he/she has more skills than a new college graduate person,he/she has a high possibility to get employed faster than a college grad.School is more on theories, but a skilled person more on hands on work,manually and experienced the workforce itself.. Describe the benefits of working with others For me,it's very challenging..different ethnics,different languages, different faces,different cultures and different customs that i have been encountered. I learned alot of things especially handling emotions and the professionalism. .sharing responsibilities. Describe the benefits of working alone Well,there's no better than working alone. no competition and no favoritism from the employer which is,very common in all fields. What was your worst working experience? When I worked with co-filipina. very troublesome. She doesn't like me so she always put my female boss's undies to my male boss's undies drawer. I was encharge with my ex-boss's wardrobe and she made a trouble for me. I was always scolded by my male boss bec of that but I can't explain to him bec I was the enchrged. I just say sorry to him. But I knew I didn't do that. But soon, I finally told my boss. When I worked with indonesian, we had a very smooth working relationship as co-workers. We never had a quarrel, even once. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The Professionalism and holding emotions. We have to love our job. What unique skills do you have? If anyone think this is a skill, I am proud to say, I can make people around me always happy and wear a smile. Not everyone could be happy every single time of the day but I am. Nobody wants to see a sad face. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being a care giver or a pa. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I can travel and work in different countries. I love travelling, I love adventure. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Descrimination. What do you think the most important thing in caring for an eldrely or a child? Be attentive and sensitive to their needs. Common sense and heart goes together. Must love our employers as a family.
