Bar positionsWhat type of job are you looking for? i am currently looking for bar work in benidorm and surrounding areas i.e valencia, alicante etc What nationality are you? My nationality is white British What languages do you speak (and at what level)? i speak fluent english as i have lived in england all my life i know some french as i did a year of it in school (2000) My spanish isn't very good i know a few words, however i am very egar to learn more What country or area are you looking to work in and why? i am looking to work in benidorm and the surrounding areas as i like a fast paced environment. What countries have you worked in? i have never worked anywhere else but england What field do you currently work in? i currently work in hospitality/retail i am the only supervisor in a upcomming coffee shop in stockport UK and work closely with the manager What fields have you worked in before? i have done a few shifts in a friends bar in manchester city centre where it was very fast paced. i have worked in hospitality for over 5 years. What qualifications do you hold? i have GCSE's maths, english lang, english lit, history GNVQ's drama, health and social care, science Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? both are valuable, however i feel skills are more valuable as nothing can prepare you for customer service skills and meeting people from all walks of life Describe the benefits of working with others working with others gives the pleasure of working as a team to achieve a better result Describe the benefits of working alone working alone gives me a sense of acomplishment in knowing i have worked to achieve something alone. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? the most important lesson i have learnt is no matter how much of a bad day you have making customers happy is always the main priority and its the customers that turn your day around What unique skills do you have? i am very friendly, funny and outgoing and will work in any environment and situation as i feel i work well with customers and my customer service is excellent as i have been told many times. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? my dream job would be to own or manage a busy bar in a central location What are the most interesting aspects of your field? the most intresting aspects are meeting new people everyday , having different conversations and making regular customers on there first visit. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? the part that is not very intresting is the paperwork i currently do at my current job, however i do quite enjoy doing it as seeing the weekly figures really shows me that me and my team are doing a fantastic job. What would you like to achieve out of a new position of your required field? i would like to achieve confidence in working in a country new to me and to push myself to make me and the new position i am in, to succeed and possibly progress.
