What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for any type of job from approximately 20th August 2009 for 10 months. I have experience in many areas including kitchen assistant, general labourer and painting and decorating I would enjoy a bar job as I am outgoing, friendly and am good at dealing with people. Even though I do not have bar experience I am a hard worker and learn quickly

What nationality are you?

British

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English - fluent (1st language) Spanish - Very basic

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Spain - Myself and my girlfriend are moving to Spain for approximately 10 months. She is completing a work placement for her university degree.

What countries have you worked in?

England, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Ireland

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

England

What field do you currently work in?

I am a student at present, my most recent job was as a building labourer

What fields have you worked in before?

Kitchen Assistant, Road resurfacer including re kerbing roads and flagging, Assistant Carpet fitter, Assistant Painter and decorator, warehouse picker and packer, builders labourer / assistant, hospital porter, cleaner

What qualifications do you hold?

I am currently studying for a Level 2 technical certificate in Gas Installation and Engineering

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I believe that a mixture of both is good although hands on work experience gives you life skills A good education is important for a healthy future with good professional skills.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Team building / working together, gain new skills, can pass on your skills and experiences, make friends and experience new things

Describe the benefits of working alone

Being organized, can work at your pace, can take the blame for your own mistakes and not be penalised for other peoples.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

To always work to the best of your ability and don't give up if things get hard

What unique skills do you have?

I am a Muay Thai instructor with 10 years fighting experience

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To work in wildlife conservation

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Mathmatical side of the job
