I have over 10 years experience both in banking, administration and in staff management, managing teams between 5 and 28 staff. I have a very confident, outgoing personality and am looking for a job in Alicante as we are moving there in the next couple of months. I give 100% to every job that I take and I always fit into any team dynamic regardless of the age or nationality of my colleagues. What nationality are you? I have dual nationality New Zealand/British. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak fluent English, very basic Spanish - but which I am working on and basic German What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am only looking around the Alicante area. Administration, managing a team from both an HR view and also a sales view for a solicitors firm with a new VC funded project. What fields have you worked in before? I have 13+ years banking experience, working in 2 different countries in several different roles. What qualifications do you hold? 75 WPM Pitmans Typing Certification Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? My experience working in roles is invaluable as I have learned what actually works in business and what doesn't rather than having a book view of what is said to be the best way to do things. Describe the benefits of working with others I am a strong team player and always ensure not only my personal success but the success of any team I am a part of. At the same time I work very well by myself as I self motivate and am an extremely motivated individual Describe the benefits of working alone Due to my excellent organisation, motivation and time management skills working on my own is a strong skill I have. What was your worst working experience? I worked for a year in a company where there was no appreciation for daily overtime done (which was unpaid) and where there was little to no organisation and a high turn over of staff due to a bad company owner. It was unpleasant and whilst I tried to make it as pleasant for the staff as I could whilst I worked there it was nigh on impossible due to not being given the appropriate authority or delegation to do my role completely. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? You get out of a job what you put into it What unique skills do you have? Ability to pick up culture and languages quickly through having moved around the world and lived in several cultures and different languages. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working in a management role with a positive and happy bunch of people who enjoy coming to work each day and with a company management system that makes the managers accountable whilst also giving the delegated authority to run the business correctly.
