Im currently looking in to Bar Manager this is something i have always wanted to do! i understand that i may have to be an assistant manager to get to learn the trade. What nationality are you? British, Half spanish. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? i speak english to level B GCSE currently learning spanish level 1 What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Spain reason being i have famaily out there. What countries have you worked in? i have worked in many countrys but whilst i waqs in the army have been to 15 differnt countrys in total including spain but only on hoilday. What field do you currently work in? bar staff. What fields have you worked in before? chef: 2 years army: 6 years bar: 1 year What qualifications do you hold? hospitailty and catering NVQ level 2 Personal licence NVQ level 2 door supervisor NVQ level 2 mangement NVQ level 3 Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? skills, my personal reason for this is i got promoted in the army and have trained some of the best individuals in the world who dont all have great formal education. you dont have to be brainy to be a hard worker. Describe the benefits of working with others i love working with others and getting the best out of people with good communication and through team building and delegation. Describe the benefits of working alone the only benifit i can see to working alone is a quite place to get on top of what you have to do with no interferance. What was your worst working experience? afganistan/iraq What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? i have learnt to treat people in the way you wish to be treated but also to be a leader of example. What unique skills do you have? A dedicated and professional Team leader with strong communication and organisational skills developed over 5 and half years in the British Army. Accustomed to working in high pressure environments both in the UK and abroad. Calm, versatile and responsive when under pressure. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? the manage a sucessful night club in spain. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? to see people enjoying them selves at my exspence.
