seeking employment in spainWhat type of job are you looking for? I'm idealy looking for a job making and repairing guitars,but i also have catering experience. What nationality are you? British What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English,learning spanish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? i am trying to relocate to spain "any region". What field do you currently work in? I'm a self employed guitar maker. What fields have you worked in before? catering,motor trade,panel beating and painting.royal mail postman. What qualifications do you hold? i have a luthiers certificate from a recognised guitar making school.i also have certificates in health and hygiene for catering. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? i find skills more valuable.i think 1st hand experience on jobs is essential. Describe the benefits of working with others i have had jobs working alone and with large teams.working with others can build you into a better worker by sharing skills and experiences,its also a great way to develop social skills and become part of a team. Describe the benefits of working alone working alone can also give you a great sense of achievement,completing a job or task well or on time is a great confidence builder,or to look at your finished job and say i did that on my own can give you a great deal of satisfaction. What was your worst working experience? standing on a recently made acoustic guitar. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? patience is a virtue. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? taking rough pieces of timber and creating a beautifull playing instrument,and the joy on the customers face when they 1st play it. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? waiting for laquer to dry. why give up my self employed job that i love doing. my dream of living in Spain has been long over looked and its now time to live my dream.my passions are guitars,playing them and making them and cooking,if i could be a part of any of these in Spain my dream would be fulfilled.
