Looking for a Project management or field management positionWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a Project manager position or a field manager position. What nationality are you? I am British What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I only currently speak English and a small bit of German. however, i would like to learn Spanish as Spain is the place where i would like to settle. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I would like to work anywhere in Spain, Pref on or near the coast but would also like to see the real spanish way of life. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in the following countries:- Holland Belgium France USA - Various states What countries do you have a visa to work in? I used to hold a visa for USA which has now expired What field do you currently work in? I currently work in the telecommunication industry What fields have you worked in before? I am a fully qualified Telecom engineer, i have worked in all aspects of the telecom industry from making tea to running multi-million pound projects. What qualifications do you hold? i have got a comprehensive list of training certificates for all telecom related roles. i am APM accredited in Project Management. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I find that both education and skills are valuable, i believe that education gives you the grounding that you need to decide what career you would like to go in, the skills will came with experience gained from starting at the bottom and working your way upwards. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others, broader scope of experience in the team in which problem solving and issues can be rectified a lot easier than trying to do it yourself. Describe the benefits of working alone More concentration, responsible for your own actions, higher confidence levels. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Honesty will always be the best policy. What unique skills do you have? Reliable, confident, punctual, patient, approachable, self motivated What would you consider as your 'dream job'? my dream job is to be in charge of a team, delivering various projects to the company that i work for. i would also like to travel with my job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? To like to watch my work go from paper form into a working product. i like to organise contract staff and have total control in the work that i am doing along with a budget to work with.i also find the actual telecom working enviroment very interesting. i love problem solve field/Site problems What are the least interesting aspects of your field? i dont believe that there are least interesting aspects as each day is differect in my work, this is what makes the Project Management role an interesting position to hold. Wy am i looking to work abroard? I have alway loved the Spanish way of life, my goal in life is to live and work in Spain, if possible pass on my skills to other members of staff so that it maight help them.
