Formal education or skills and why? Both, Each has thier value, formal eduacation is more measureable so that what you can do can be easy understood by others. Skilss gainned can be more complex but equally useful Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others is that you have collegues to bounce ideas of, you support and be supported by a team. You can have a sense of place within a team, knowing you belong Describe the benefits of working alone To work alone allows you choice in what you do and when. What was your worst working experience? The death of my father What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To stay calm and trust my judgement and to continue to learn What unique skills do you have? A creative and caring person,who is adaptable What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A job where all my talents are of use. A creative and caring role with children or adults that are excited about learning What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Creating art works with pupils, carin for and supporting students so that the reach thier potential and dicover that they couls do more than they thought possible What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Washing out paint brushes that pupils have left behind, writng reports for pupils that i hardly know because the school is so big and because i teach so many pupils i can't remember who they are (no.of pupils in the school 1800) Why Sri Lanka? I am looking for an environment to teach in where my talents will be recognised and encouraged. I want to explore other cultures where the people are warm and welcoming.
