looking for a banking job in southern sudan

What type of job are you looking for?

I am a kenyan lady aged 27 years. Am a Bsc IT graduate from JKUAT and currently pursuing Msc Procurement and Logistics. I have already completed my coursework and am currently working on my project in order to graduate. I am currently working in a local bank and i have 3 years experience.I am looking for a banking or an NGO job in South Sudan to be part of a winning team.

What nationality are you?

i am a kenyan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

i speak fluent English, Kiswahili and Meru languages.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking forward to work in Juba , South Sudan for it offers great and challenging opportunities for job seekers like me to improve on their skills and utilize their talents well. With the skills and experience i have acquired i believe i can contribute to the success of the new South Sudan that we've all wanted to see.

What countries have you worked in?

I have only worked in one country, Kenya

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I can work in any country that is a member of the East African Community.

What field do you currently work in?

I am in the Marketing field.

What fields have you worked in before?

customer service and marketing

What qualifications do you hold?

Bsc IT,CCNA1 and soon to graduate with Msc Procurement and Logistics

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are valuable. One needs formal education to understand the organization's operations and objectives and hence make important decisions that will assist the organization to achieve its goals.One also needs skills to perform the required tasks efficiently and effectively thus both are very valuable.When you combine skills and formal education you make a successful organization.

Describe the benefits of working with others

People have very different personalities and skills and so when you work with people you engage different and unique skills from each one of them and bring out the best performance.When every person does what he is best at, then the organization benefits from every person's unique skills.

Describe the benefits of working alone

-One is able to build up confidence when given a task to do and bring out the best perfomance . -One may also discover what he/she is good at in terms of practical work. -One can also work without supervision since they believe in themselves and the work they do.

What was your worst working experience?

Marketing of bank products to people who despised my work and hence making it very difficult for me to reach my targets.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

To treat people well i.e. everyone because they may help you out someday and that every person is important despite the work they do. Do not look down on someone because of their work. Every job is important for the successful running of any organization be it a cleaning job or a management job.

What unique skills do you have?

Communication skills and Interpersonal skills that enable me to market well for the organization i work for and bring more customers to the organization as my job requires.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

The job that makes me feel fulfilled when i do it.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Meeting new people everyday and learning to cope with the challenges that it presents

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

-Working on a daily basis with no time limits and working on sundays,holidays etc as long as you have an appointment with a customer.

What other fields would you like to work in given the chance?

Having been in marketing and dealing with people a lot, i would love to work in any field that involves dealing directly with customers such as any banking or NGO field that will not deny me touch with poeople.
