Am looking forward to work as a social worker

Am a Kenyan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Am good in Kikuyu since it's my native language also good in Swahili and English

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking forward to work in any area in Sudan

What countries have you worked in?

Kenya

What field do you currently work in?

community mobilizer and a volunteer

What fields have you worked in before?

Kiambu District hospital in Kenya as a social worker

What qualifications do you hold?

I hold a Diploma in Social work and social development from University of Nairobi

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Bothare variable formal education woirks hand in hand with skills in that the more skills one has the better to boost the formal side of work

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others enable one to learn more skills and give exposure toward developing one another through sharing ideas work approach is well hence team work is more productive

Describe the benefits of working alone

One is able to make haste decision on matter on hand and implement in time

What was your worst working experience?

When I was dealing with youth in Kiambu who expected me to deliver material than the skills I offered to help them to deal with challenges they face

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learn't how to cope with different people facing various problem in their life's and be able to help them to change positively

What unique skills do you have?

Am able to work and learn new skill easily and implement without fear or interferance

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To become a project officer

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

To see the community am working with set themselves free from lives' undesirable conditions

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Not been able to use skill,knowledge and time effectively to help communities deal with their problems
