I have worked in two institutions in order to sharpen my Social Work skills. I worked at Kibera Community Self Help Programme for a period of two months at the youth center. Here I had a lot of collection of materials from the community and also had a chance to interact with people affected and infected by HIV/AIDS. This was a time for me to research on the stigmatization that those affected are accorded. I also learnt more from the slum area.

My second supervised practicum was at the Nairobi Children’s Remand Home in Nairobi. Here I learnt from delinquent children and also analyzed the factors that might have caused those delinquent to get involved in crime. I have also submitted a report on this practicum that is being marked by my supervisor.

I have also leadership skills. Currently, I am the Project Coordinator of Marakwet University Students Association (MUSA) and the Secretary KOISAKI Self Help Group as group I initiated. I am also the Secretary General Champions for Human Rights a group in Marakwet District.

The skills and code of ethics that bind me in Social work are always things I abide by always. These include: confidentiality, individuality of clients and acceptance.

Iam a southern Sudanese residing in the US, Iam 26 yrs old, I would be graduate soon in summer, I will be obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technlogy from DeVry Univesity, and Iam looking for any opening job in Eastern Africa or South Sudan, in the field of Technology as I mentioned my career above. I decided to go back to Africa and, help our people build Technlogies and, access more network infrustrature. I made a recent visited to the followings Countries in Eastern Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan and, Uganda, I was so impressed during my tour, I had been aways from Sudan for almost 20yrs.
