job in norwayWhat type of job are you looking for? i'm looking for a job in wich i have to use my head and all of my previous experience,wich includes,but not limited to; mechanical maintenance/service/repair of ship's engines,pumps,centrifugal purifiers(especially alfa-laval brand),bolilers..and any kind of metal fabricating/manufacuturing/welding What nationality are you? Croatian What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Croatian,Serbian,Bosnian and English,fluent in read,speak,and writing.... Italian and Spanih basic knowlege What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Svalbard,or any area in Norway..I know for jobs in Norway have very good salary,and for me most important;i know,if i'm doing good job,someone will appriciated my efforts,and last but not least.. safety on the job is at high level. What countries have you worked in? I have been work all around the world(i am a merchant navy mechanic/fitter) and i have a chance to sail all around the world... What countries do you have a visa to work in? U.S.A. and all of the countries in EU What field do you currently work in? at this moment i am work in in one small metal-fabrication workshop,where we produce all kind of metal products,like iron fences,doors,etc. What fields have you worked in before? before current job i have work for 12 years on the ship,like engine mechanic/fitter What qualifications do you hold? i have all relevant STCW certificates for doing job/navigate on all types of ships,including VLCC,and my formal education is high school for ships mechanic Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? in my humble opinion,without formal education you do not have chance to come and start work in various types of ocupations...but,since i allready have a lot of experience,skill is more important,and in the school you only know theoretical... practical comes with the years of work.. Describe the benefits of working with others on the ship,i have comprehende the meaning of the phrase ''band of brothers'' and therfore...one for all,and all for one...its a clishe but i have hard belive that is true...when team work as one... Describe the benefits of working alone there is a lot of benefits to work alone,but i prefere to work in the team What was your worst working experience? i have a lots of bad experience,and all of them was connected with the work and living on the ship.... in short,we almost sink,and that was only time when i was affraid for life of my crew,and my life of course.. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? if you dont ask,you'll never know the answer,and strive to survive What unique skills do you have? i am very commnuicative person,and i can easily become a part of the team,and i'm learning fast,especially foreign languages What would you consider as your 'dream job'? my dream job will be if i cant wait to come on the job,and start work. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? i am very good in what i'm doing... and ability to learn fast.
