I have worked in many countries all over the world as Diving Instructor and also as Hospitality Manager. Beeing a Diving Instructor and just working for the love of the job was just not good enough anymore, but I love travelling or beeing on the road. This is the reason I became a Trucker. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Europe What field do you currently work in? Long distance Truck and Trailor(Kipper) 20 meter max length for Germany. Experience driving through, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany. What fields have you worked in before? Horse and Trailor(Kipper), Truck and Trailor(lafette with GLS jumbo containers) What qualifications do you hold? Hospitality Management 3 years Traineeship diploma German Hotels PADI-Instructor Development Course Staff Diving Instructor EU-Profesional Truck Driver Diploma, CE Lisence, ADR Piecestuff(Stuckgut) and Tank, Forklift- and Autocrane lisence. Safety Officer training. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education. When formally educated it consists of theory and practical learning with exams and degree or qualification formally accepted by authorities and others Describe the benefits of working with others It is fun working together with good collegues. Many hands make the work lighter. Working with others as a Team can also be of great benefit to the company when it comes to problem solving etc. Describe the benefits of working alone You do not have people looking over your shoulder all the time. You are only responsable for yourself and are able to find your own personal pace. What was your worst working experience? Working for Family(Sister and Brother in Law) What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Treat other people no matter what race, religion or colour, the same way that you wan't to be treated. Smile and the world smiles with you! Live and let live is ny life motto! What unique skills do you have? I am a peoples person that is well and easily liked by collegues, because of my caring and helping attitude. I cook well and I do not need a handyman to fix stuff, because I do it myself. Many more, but it is difficult to write about yourself. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Trucker! I love driving big machines, traveling and beeing on the road. I made the dicision to become a truck driver after thinking it over thoroughly. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Traveling, seeing new places, countries, meeting new people on the road and driving big machinery. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? To stay on top of new rueles and regulations concerning the job. Keeping book of daily hours driven etc. Why should a swedish employer consider employing you? I am a Hardworking, Honest, Punktual and Friendly person that is willing to work for a long trial period on half the normal salary.
