Russian - mother tongue; English - professional level; Swedish - fluent; Norwegian - communicational level What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Sweden, Stockholm or any other city in Sweden. My first education is translation and linguistics, Swedish is my second foreign language, within my studies I've got a lot of knowledge about Swedish culture, traditions and history. Sweden is a highly democratic country with a strong social structure. These facts appeal to me. I've been to several cities in Sweden and I loved it. Working in Sweden became my dream. What countries have you worked in? Russia, Norway. Being a member of the Barents Regional Youth Council I have project work experience in the Barents Region. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I can get a work visa when I get a job. What field do you currently work in? At the moment I am working in the educational field, teaching English. What fields have you worked in before? I have been a member of the Barents Regional Youth Council working with youth international projects, was the Chairperson 2010-2011; Have work experience in the Ministry of youth, tourism and sport affairs as a BEAR youth project leader on social basis; I've been an assistant and advisor in the Barents Secretariat in Arkhangelsk; Teaching; Tourism sphere - summer guide in the Solovetsky archipelago museum What qualifications do you hold? I have a Bachelor degree in Circumpolar studies (economy, politics, resources,culture of the circumpolar world ), and I am graduating in June 2011 as a linguist and translator; I have been to summer language courses in London and Swedish language courses in Sweden, Kalix folkhögskola Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Education is of great importance, it is the basis for your career, which builds up on you skills and experience. Without skills education or diploma will not work. I think that it is essential to have working experience in different spheres, so you have a better job choice. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work is important.When you work with other people, problem solutions come up easier and quicker, some brilliant ideas can appear when there are several minds working. You can help others and get help having difficulties. Describe the benefits of working alone when you work alone you can make everything in your own way and your own system. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience was when the client to whom i was carrying out translation was really rude to me and treated me irrespectively. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? In any situation you should stay calm so it is easier to find a problem solution. What unique skills do you have? I can deal with people easily, be a leader. i have a lot of different interests and eager to get new knowledge/ What would you consider as your 'dream job'? my dream job is interesting,includes dealing with people and traveling.It should give me new knowledge and an opportunity to develop and be creative. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? learning new skills and getting new experience, communicating and developing. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
