What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Fluent English, Intermediate Japanese and Swedish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I want to work in the Stockholm area preferably because I live there. What countries have you worked in? America, Japan, and Sweden. What countries do you have a visa to work in? United States and Sweden. What field do you currently work in? I am completing my Masters studies in International Studies. At the moment, I am working at the Hospitality industry at Berns Salonger. What fields have you worked in before? IT, Customer Support, Law (Volunteer), Public Relations in Tourism, Hospitality and Restaurants, Advertising and Marketing, English education and assistant Education. What qualifications do you hold? Professional Food Manager certificate. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I believe a balance is best. Formal education helps open and train the mind to accomplish a task. Skills are useful for on the job applications. Describe the benefits of working with others Accomplishing a task faster is one benefit. Another is becoming more socially cohesive. Also makes the work more pleasant. Describe the benefits of working alone You can accomplish things potentially faster without reliance on others. You can get the job done without receiving conflicting information. What was your worst working experience? I consider all my work experiences as valuable learning experiences. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Perseverance. I always keep a positive attitude and continue on with my work despite any setbacks that may occur. As long as I am doing all the tasks assigned to me, I feel accomplished and satisfied. What unique skills do you have? Because I have experience in many diverse fields of work, I feel my strongest asset is my attitude at work. I always do my best to finish the tasks given to me and try to be as self reliant as possible. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My "dream job" is finding a company that I enjoy working with. That seriously can mean many different fields of work from a job in the United Nations to being a Tour Guide. There are many different fields out there that I am interested in. I tend to like social jobs, but have flourished in many jobs that only require the skills of one person. I honestly enjoy both. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I love learning. My field requires that I critically read and understand many different environmental, political, social and culture issues so that I can fully understand them. I really enjoy doing that. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? There is not anything not interesting, but sometimes teachers will criticize your work. But they are only trying to help you further develop yourself. What will you bring to a job? I will bring hard work ethics that have been developed through many years of working in different fields. I know if I get a job, I will do my best in it. It does not have to be just a summer job either. I am interesting in working through summer as well. How can potential employers contact you?
