Job opportunities in Finance - TaipeiWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a job in the field of finance - business analysis - cost control, available in The area of Taipei. What nationality are you? I was born and raised in France. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I am fluent in french, english and spanish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am willing to work in the area of Taipei, but i would agree any destination in Taiwan, such as Taichung. What countries have you worked in? So far i have worked in France, but i worked as a business analyst for the Coca Cola Company, on the Europe, Middle East and Africa area. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Currently all the European union countries. What field do you currently work in? I work as a business analyst in the pharma-logistic industry. It covers the cost control and financial management of several multi-sites companies. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked as a financial and budget analyst in the Food and Beverages industry for Coca Cola, on the EMEA area. The operations were to produce and sell the concentrate beverage to all the customers in the related area. What qualifications do you hold? I have a master in management from Montpellier Business School, major in finance - project management. I also have a bachelor (hons) in business administration, on the Asia - Pacific Region, from La trobe University of Melbourne. I also have proficiency in using ERP such as as SAP (FI / CO / MM), Cognos, and in the Office softwares suite : Excel (advanced), Access, Powerpoint, and Word. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Althought education gives you the knowledge and essential basis allowing you to be effecient and to raise to a higher level, skills are what are really heping the person to be competitive and creates differenciation from the next person. Describe the benefits of working with others Success in a company is linked to the fact of having the best persons working efficiently together, and leveraging themselves to achieve the goals. As a team player, i intend to upgrade the main strenghts of my teammates, and expect them to give their best for the greatest good of all. Describe the benefits of working alone When you work alone, you don t suffer the lack or lower involvment of other people in a team, and are able to have total control. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience was when members of a team were not able to discuss and figure out an important issue, until the situation became really touchy to a point that caused difficulties before finally getting resolved. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? What i would say is the most important lesson is that commitment and hard work lead to achievement. What unique skills do you have? I can adapt myself very rapidly to a very large range of people and situation, no matter the country, culture and level. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would be working as business analyst in a company in the industry or service area, and helping achieving sustainable growth. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Controling the finance, helping management to get acurate information, so they are able to correctly pilot the company and achieve goals, are the most interesting aspect of my field. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The double work to ensure reliability and acuracy of all the datas provided. What was your greatest work experience? I have been involved in the development of a new business model in the beverage industry, and was able to take the lead on an accounting and finance plan, used later by the management to put in place the new business model.
