Both are valuable and I think they should be exploited simultaneouly for great results.

Enables you to get more experience from your others and you can easily get advice and they can correct you when you go wrong.

I dont find much benefits here but I working alone gives you more space to work on what you want, when you want it and how you want more exact compared to working as a team,considering we differ in ways of performing activities.
