Am a holder B.Sc in Telecommunications Engineering, from university of Dar es salaam, hard working and result and quality oriented person. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills are more valuable because skills gives confidence,self efficacy, and quality performance of the job or work. Skills are obtained mostly from experience that is practical performance. For example myself, am so much experienced with GSM and CDMA systems as i have practically worked with Vodacom Tanzania as practical Training scheduled by university. Formal education on the other hand gives the professionalism requirement. Describe the benefits of working with others 1. work simplification; as said "unity is power" being in unity makes work easer than alon. 2. skills sharing; in unity level of skills vary from one person to another. so working with others helps to develop your skills as you will learn from others 3. quality assurance; when working with others it is more obvious that the quality will be maintained as mistakes made by single person will be identified and corrected by others. 4. for interdependent systems working with others became inevitable for archiving the desired goals. Describe the benefits of working alone It depends on the kind of the work and the level of skills, but the following benefits can be entailed 1. increased responsibility and accountability. 2. preciseness; as a single person will be precise 3. high confidential level in information 4. promotion of self reliance in the job performance. What was your worst working experience? Failure of radios to get into service while on analysis appears to have no problem at all though latter on they get into services after a long time of more than two days. this happened at Mbozi-Ilomba BTS. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? 1. Experience is very important in carrying out any technical work in field. What unique skills do you have? 1. Network security 2. network hardware problems fixing 3. radio frequency planning 4. UMTS architecture. 5. information security design and implementation. 6. routers and routing procedures. 7. Communication System planning consultant.(transmission specialist) What are the most interesting aspects of your field? cellular planning and modelling of various towns for quality of communication. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? there is no least interesting as all of them are important for communications to take place efficiently. what do you understand by 3G? 3G means third generation of mobile communication. systems under this generation are UMTS,IMT, CDMA2000,EDGE.
