What type of job are you looking for?
Any equestrian job where I can bring my 3 horses and have a place to live for myself and my pups. I can train horses and clients (jumpers/dressage etc) or take care of horses, barn management etc
What languages do you speak (and at what level)?
English - fluent, Swedish - fluent, understand SOME German...
What State are you looking to work in and why?
Texas. Currently in Marble Falls (west of Austin), would love to stay in the area, but will relocate if necessary...
Why? Because me and my separated husband share "custody" of one of our dogs, and hate to break the pups up...silly, I know...but we both love them to death...
What field do you currently work in?
Own training business, teaching and training. Have to move from the facility (where I live, keep horses and teach) because the ranch is selling...under contract... :(
What fields have you worked in before?
Office (billing and insurance), Veterinary assistant, assistant trainer, head trainer (Equestrian)...
What qualifications do you hold?
Professional trainer and a college degree (Sweden - financial)
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
Both...when it comes to horses - EXPERIENCE, for sure. I am 42 and have ridden since I was 7...

Flexibility, take the time a certain horse needs, flexible with lesson schedules etc...

Trusting people and hiring the "wrong" people...
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
To have an open mind!
What unique skills do you have?
Get along with "problem horses", manages (sometimes) to make already talented horses perform better (esp. jumpers), responsible, perfectionist, believe in preventative horse care, can make riding fun & safe for hardworking students, the LOVE of the horse comes first!
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
Exercising/galloping studs at one of the beautiful breeding facilities in KY, while having my own training business on the side...or my horses boarded at above described facility...for free, while working there :)
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
Bringing out the potential and talent out of every horse, different and hidden as it can be. Making rider & horse get along, have fun, excel, and create harmony.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
Students who are not ready to work hard to achieve their goals, students who blame their horse for their mistakes...
