| Questions: Is canada a better place to live than the US? I have had some bad healthcare experiences here in the US and the last one has just sent me to the point of wanting to move. My two year old son was spinning around in the living room and broke his leg. As if that wasn't bad enough me and my husband had just moved to Texas and started new jobs so we didn't have insurance. I was pretty much threatened to get insurance in the next two days to get him casted or have cps on my case. I filled out a medicaid application but they said it would take up to six weeks to approve me. After two days of searching for an ortho doc that would cast a medicaid pending child and being told no numerous times I finally found a place. After it's all said and done though I can't stand the thought of someone threatening me for not being able to afford insurance in this crappy greedy country. Can anyone give me advice? |
