Bachelor of science in Nursing, certified nurse in the OR nearly 20 years of ORservices/Anesthesia from staff mursing to management position Currently the Nurse coordiator for Anesthesia services For OR and Labor and delivery. Intrumental in implemeting compputerized anesthesia information system for hospital recording and charging purposes Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal Education. as aprofessional nurses, you have to know the rationale , effects and positive outcome or advrse reaction of a nursing action,and proper communication to other health workers these are learned in formal education and training. Proper education will result in a more confident and skilled nurse. Describe the benefits of working with others working with others results in better patient outcome, as a manager I encourage team work and comminication, it just makes work lighter, care better, and employees happier, and managers prouder Describe the benefits of working alone In nursing , None in some other area it may be good, I do not know What was your worst working experience? When I got pulled to an area I have no experience working in, ICU due to Nursing staff shortage. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Diversify, be good in your own area of expertise. As a staff nurse and a manager,accept unfamiliar task as an oppurtunity to learn and grow. What unique skills do you have?
