Swahili Teacher /counselor What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak Swahili ,English and Kikuyu (Fluently) What State are you looking to work in and why? Texas this is because its climate is very good and also i have many friends from Kenya there What field do you currently work in? Teacher ,teaching Swahili and geography as well as a counselor What fields have you worked in before? I have been teaching and counseling throughout my life What qualifications do you hold? I have a bachelors of education Arts (Swahili and Geography) and Masters in Counseling Psychology Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? These two are equally valuable .Reason being that, each individual is different from the other and has different abilities and talents. These talents and abilities should be given equal chance in the education and career world to be developed. Describe the benefits of working with others One practice her abilities ,talents skills ,knowledge and also learn from each other. Describe the benefits of working alone One learns to be independent and is does what they want without the interruption of others . What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience is when one of my best student fell sick during the final exam.He was not able to sit for his exams and he repeated a whole year. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? working hard is very important because students pass the exams and i feel fulfilled as they become better people in the society . What unique skills do you have? Teaching skills , counseling skills and leadership skills,Co-Author of books. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Teacher/counselor What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Ability to transform life's mind and behavior of the teenagers . What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Marking for a student who has not understood the concept which has been tested.
