I am trying to look for a job in Chiang Mai for it's a place that is conducive to work at. The place is not too crowded, people are friendly and their culture is interesting. What countries have you worked in? Philippines - emergency rooom nurse and company nurse What countries do you have a visa to work in? None at the moment. What field do you currently work in? None at the moment. What fields have you worked in before? I worked in a tertiary hospital in Baguio City, Philippines as an emergency room nurse. I also worked in an IT company as a company nurse/occupational health nurse. What qualifications do you hold? Bachelor of Science in Nursing Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is more valuable for skills can only be achieved if one is knowledgeable about a certain task. Skills can be easily learned for once you learn it, it would simply be a routine and one can be an expert with it if there are principles followed along with it. On the other hand, formal education is a continuous process for the betterment of the skills we have. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work is a rudiment for success no matter what field one is working on. I benefited a lot from it for it makes the ideas I already have to be broadened and see the other facet of the bigger picture in a different perspective. Describe the benefits of working alone I get the chance to meditate on the consequences of what I am doing. Foreseeing possibilities so as to provide the best care. I also learned to rely on others all the time. It also trained my brain powers to function well on their own. What was your worst working experience? Working with people who look down on you. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Endurance. What unique skills do you have? Good communication and observation skills. I can also happy to work as part of the team What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Trauma nurse. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Trauma care. It is very intricate for a nurse is in a blind side of the case. One should concentrate on what is unseen for it would be fatal if undiagnosed earlier. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I don't think there is such for I consider everything as interesting. I always learn a lot even if I do a task over and over again. What is being a nurse involve? It involves patience and endurance along with long suffering. A nurse should be able to deal with emotionally charged situations professionally.
