Financial Sales ProfessionalWhat type of job are you looking for? A Financial Sales job would be most appropiate but any international sales position would suffce. What nationality are you? I am Irish from the island of Ireland What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Fluency in English and Danish, Mid level Norweigian. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Thailand. I have some contacts and friends living in Thailand and they have been suggesting that I should consider Thailand as a new base. What countries have you worked in? United Kingdom, Denmark, Holland, United States, Switzerland and obviously Ireland. What countries do you have a visa to work in? All European Union membership countries. What field do you currently work in? Finance What fields have you worked in before? Retail, Hospitality, Finance, Banking and Sales in corporated in all. What qualifications do you hold? C&G 481 management, Aci Financial Diploma. Saxo Banks internal Finacial Education Package. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I find them to be of equal worth. The fundamentals that formal education are needed to initiate and develop the necessary skills which are essential to making head way in any professional enviroment. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work is great for spreading the workload and bouncing ideas of each other to give variable results. The best result then being utilised to ensure on profit. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone is good for focus and speed. the ability to deliver a sole thought out idea or plan is always good. One can always then work outside the limitaion of an office in a site capacity or as a field agent with just minimal contact to the head office. What was your worst working experience? Dealing with clients while the world trading center was being attack, was working in a financial institution and in contact with many client who had friends or relatives in the towers. Had to maintain professionalism while dealing with very emotional people. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never be afriad to ask for suggestions to any problem or issue. What unique skills do you have? The ability to convey a product in its entirity while getting the client very much involved and enthusiastic What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Any sales job where I have a team working with me with a product that I believe in. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Meeting different people all the time. having to use your intelligence and savvy to come up with new ways to create pipelines. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Have never found my field uninteresting, it is a constantly developing market with successive challenges always being presented to the individual sales person or manager.
