What countries have you worked in? Thailand What field do you currently work in? Inbound Sales Manager (Thailand & Indochina) Inbound Department for a tour operator company, tourism industry. What fields have you worked in before? Tourism, Sales/marketing/level management. What qualifications do you hold? Master of International Business (Tourism)from University of South Australia. Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) (University in Thailand) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider both are important in order to improve the ability in order to work. We cannot deny that we need to study the theories which of couse from institution it is the bottom line of any skills. However, the skills is also very matter since we need to apply those knowledges gainned from what we study to our works. Besides, probably we'd find out a new theory after facing problems or whatsoever during the work, which can be called "case study". Describe the benefits of working with others Learning and sharing knowledges, experiences: it doesn't matter only the work knowledge or skills at the workplace but also other matters to get along and be a quality one in the community or organization. Motivation/team work: it is important to be a part of the team, responsibility in your task and helping each other in order to achive the same goal. Brainstorming: I believe working with others mean we have our own tasks but in the end we must listening and sharing the ideas for the best outcome. Describe the benefits of working alone Challenge - so we could find out what we actually capable to do or lacking of something in order to produce the best outcome from work. Time management/responsibility - major task is on my hands therefore, I can manage and schedule my work plan invidually without any delay. Easier to making a decision. To improve myself to be more proactive and developing own skills from one project to the next one. What was your worst working experience? Because I am Thai so I found it is hard sometimes to deal with the seniourity issue, woking environment where you could not share much your idea. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I found that there's always chance to learn and improve yourself in order to learn things from my career. For example, from the boss, colleages, clients, suppliers etc. I try to listen and apply the things that I accidently learnt or learning with my intention to my life/and work. What unique skills do you have? Analytical skill & Negotiation skill What would you consider as your 'dream job'? The work that I'm happy to do and allowed me to learn new things each day. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Meeting people from different culture and have opportunity to explore the world.
