I am looking to teach in Tongo because of the many possiilites to broaden my horizon and refresh and renew my capacity to teach English. In addition, I feel that the people of Tongo would be pleasant and eager students to work with. What countries have you worked in? Canada, Korea, U.S. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have no work visas at the moment. What field do you currently work in? Market Research What fields have you worked in before? Basically ESL teaching. What qualifications do you hold? BA, University of New Mexico, U.S. Graduate Diploma TEFL, University of Reading, England Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? They are both important, but perhaps an open mind and zest for life are equally important. Describe the benefits of working with others Communication engages all our capacities. We learn from each other as ideas and information is exchanged. We also develop as professionals and individuals much faster in highly social stuations. Describe the benefits of working alone There is time to put life lessons learned into perspective. What was your worst working experience? Dealing with rude people while conducting market research. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned that people matter most of all. What unique skills do you have? I can empathize with my students, understand their needs and goals. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working to develop people's full potential. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Intense interpersonal interactions with the intellectual and emotional stimulus involved. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
