Job SearchWhat type of job are you looking for? Hello...I am looking for an assistant chef/cook or even trainee within the restaurant industry. What nationality are you? I am a born american but i have lived in Trinidad all my life and has dual-citizenship. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I only speak english and know basic spanish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am currently looking for a job in Trinidad because i feel most comfortable living here even though i had experiance living wothin an other country for at least two (2) years.Next my parents and live here and i want to someday open a successful here one day. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in Grenada on Internship as a trainee in an hotel. What field do you currently work in? I am currently finishing school this month (30th April,2010) What fields have you worked in before? I onced entered into the office feild,where i worked as an secretary for 8 months and at least 3 months as a decor assitant. What qualifications do you hold? I have a pending Associate Degree in Culinary arts,5 CXC subjects Maths,English A and B,Geography and Human and Social Biology. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I thing that education is very important and can open doors to a limitless world of oppotunites but when u attain a skill u can always increase and learn along with the skill.You could have all the education but u need papers to show it whne you go for a work,but with a skil you could show the world and it is something you have that is orginal and have forever,it is something you will have forever.It helps express your inner witout words and shows your hard work. Describe the benefits of working with others It opens your mind in taking opinions,increase your interpersonal skills and alibilty to understand and learn for others.It helps you share your knowledge,learn and sometimes become more ambitous. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits of working alone is that you will be more focus,less distracted and you will be able to express yourself openly with worrying about others opinions.You would be more comforable. What was your worst working experience? My worst experience was working at a grocery. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? That you must have a passion for what you do...and that whatever you do do it at your best give it your all. What unique skills do you have? I can always make something tasty.An have the ablilty to to be creative or think fast to help slove a situation. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job is have is having my own catering place or establishment or design decorator. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? the most interesting part is seein the finifshed product of a plate when everything is arranged and ready to serve or even a well decorated buffet whne its finished. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least is knowing or watching a finished product knowing that you could have done better and relizing that your foot are swallon after standing up all day.
