NEED A JOB What type of job are you looking for? Iam presently doin my associates degree in environmental management- full time......so i am looking for a job that would comliment school but im willing to try any positive field. one that would allow me to perform well at work and still be able to attend school when nescessary. i know this is very difficult to find but i am optimistic that some one would hear my plight and help me ....salary doent matter too much !!!!! What nationality are you? trinidadian What languages do you speak (and at what level)? english- very well spanish- basic french- very basic What country or area are you looking to work in and why? trinidad ....because i live there and i am presently in college there. What countries have you worked in? trinidad only What field do you currently work in? i am not working prsently What fields have you worked in before? sales clerk What qualifications do you hold? i have obtained 8(eight) o' level subjects at general level mathematics- grade I with a distinction english - grade II spanish- grade II geography- grade II biology - grad I physics - grade II chemistry - grade II history- grade II Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? well i would consider skills to be more valuable, because today employers are not only looking for your academic and formal education but they are quite captivated by the ability and skill of people to do things that would help both you and them move forward. The mind is not the only thing that is important but it is the ability to use the mind to develop skills , which is always a plus...with development worldwide , more skill is nescessary. However both skill and formal education would be an asset. Describe the benefits of working with others working with others firstly helps a person to develop a sense of helping, sharing, understanding and co operativeness as it builds relationships. It helps to biuld ones knowlege as different ideas from various individuals are shared among each other. It helps to promote both team work and leadership which are great qualities to posess Describe the benefits of working alone well for some working alone may be seen easier than working with others as there is no large influx of various ideas. It also promotes individuality and shows a persons capability of doing things alone without dependence on others. i believe it provides a sense of leadership as well. What was your worst working experience? working for the christmas vacation at a clothing store.....because it was all about selfish competition and no teamwork among other employees, the employer took advantage of us by making us work extra hours without any pay...the condition under which we worked wasnt the best....but i did my best! What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? i have learnt to never trust anyone more than you trust yourself....and that you will only earn what you want through hard work and dedication What unique skills do you have? i am alround in sports...particularly netball i posess very strong leadership and at the same time team player skills i can multi task very well quite talented What would you consider as your 'dream job'? i consider my dream job to be most importantly something that i love and is posisitive....that would help me to provide for myself and family in a good way What are the most interesting aspects of your field? the most interesting aspect is learning new things and being able to make a difference through your efforts What are the least interesting aspects of your field? cant really think of any but i would say having to face people who wants to conteract the efforts of my field |
