Seeking Immediate Employment!!!!!!!What type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a job in the medical/ pharmaceutical industries. A lab technician or even a medical assistant would be appropriate for me. What nationality are you? I am a Trinidadian but have lived abroad in NYC for 8 years. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak fluent English, and I am very articulate. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Any area from Couva, Chaguanas, to even Port of Spain would be acceptable to me. I do possess my own vehicle so commuting will not be a problem. What countries have you worked in? I have experience working as an office assistant for a Cleaning Company in New York; and I did 3 years (Summer jobs) of volunteer work at Queens hospital in New York. I also worked as a CSR for a Tent and Party Rentals Company in Trinidad. What qualifications do you hold? I completed my high school education in New York City, but I possess CXC Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, and Spanish; and A'Level MAthematics, Chemistry, and Biology. I also completed a one year University intro course in Psychology, and Calculus AB. I possess certification in Pre-Medical Pharmaceuticals Chemistry. I am computer literate and am very familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite. Describe the benefits of working with others Working together on teams can help you grow more intellectually. Working with others to accomplish a task can also provide opportunities to share your knowledge with others, which can be beneficial to the establishment/ company to which you are employed. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits which exists for working alone includes being able to incorporate time management skills with regards to meeting set deadlines; also it can provide a means by which the individual can "prove himself" capable enough to carry out a particular task. In essence, working individually is a good way to test an individual's skills and competencies. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned that similarly how in a store "the customer is always right", in the workplace, the employer is always right. If a situation ever arises where question of authority becomes eminent, then careful planning must go into the method being used to approach the employer, since a level of respect must always be upheld. What is your future career hopes/ goals? My future career goal is to be working at a senior level position somewhere in the medical/ pharmaceutical industries. This means that I am willing to start off as a medical assistant or a lab tech or even as a research assistant, however I have hopes of one day advancing to Pharmacist or even as a Medical Doctor.
