Currently, I am a cashier What fields have you worked in before? I've been employed as a cashier, secretary, office assistant, baby sitter, and lotto machine operator. What qualifications do you hold? I have 4 CXC Passes(English, Mathematics, Principles of Business and Social Studies.) I also have 2 Advanced Subsidiary passes (Law and sociology) I am currently awaiting my Diploma in Criminal law, Contract law, Public law, and Common law. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I would consider skills to be more valuable because there are so many different fields available in society, and not everyone would have studied them. Many fields can only be mastered through personal experience. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work gives knowledge to each member as it allows each of them to share their thoughts and ideas with each other. Describe the benefits of working alone Although team work has it's benefits, working alone can also be beneficial. When one works alone, the job maybe completed at a quicker paste, and although mistakes may be made, the individual would become better at his/her job. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience was being hated by my co-workers because I was promoted and they weren't. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Throughout my career, I've learnt that there are no friends in business. When I go to work, it's to make money and not friends. What unique skills do you have? I'm computer literate, socialization skills, marketing and sales, I can multi task and learn quickly. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I have more than one dream job. It's my goals in life. I want to be a criminal lawyer with my own law firm one day. I plan to follow my dream in also becoming a make up artist and a reporter. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I love socializing with people, I can fit in any crowd, and that's the most interesting thing for me. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? There is nothing least interesting because I love everything about it. What are your hobbies? I love reading novels, law books, encyclopedias, medical books, anything that can be read because I love learning new things. I love writing poetry because it's artistic.
