Front Desk Service, Receptionist or Telephone operator

What nationality are you?

Trinidadian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English - expert

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Trinidad, I am currently living in Trinidad

What field do you currently work in?

Custom, Immigration and Supervisory

What fields have you worked in before?

Administration, Dental Field, Guest Services and Telephone Operator

What qualifications do you hold?

CXC: Mathematics, English Language, Social Studies, Caribbean History and Principles of Business. Royal School of Music: Grade 6

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills are valuable because you already have the hands on training that are required and that allow you to just step into the available position without there being a long training process.

Describe the benefits of working with others

The benefits of working with others: 1. There should be team work to accomplish the goals that are set. 2. If one of the team falls short there this someone else to assist to complete the job

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits of working alone: 1. You are focused on the Job. 2. You se a goal and aim for that 3. There is little or no distraction

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

That you can accomplish any thing you just need to keep focused on your goals

What unique skills do you have?

I am a excellent communicator and work well with little or no supervision. I have worked with the Alcatel and Mital Telephone operator systems.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My dream job would be an 8-4 desk job answering customers queries and answering the phone.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Ensuring that the individuals that require information from you get accurate information that is required in a friendly and pleasant manner.

I love communicating on the phone.
