Seeking a job

What type of job are you looking for?

Preferably something science related, especially medically related.

What nationality are you?

Trinidadian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English and French (Intermediate 2, Diploma)

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Trinidad. Live here.

What countries have you worked in?

Trinidad.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

None.

What field do you currently work in?

Security.

What fields have you worked in before?

Administrative assistant, production worker.

What qualifications do you hold?

Associate degree in Biology, CXC Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English, GCE Additional Mathematics.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills are always needed, plus formal education (theory) is built from skills (practical).

Describe the benefits of working with others

Improved socialization skills, you can always learn something new, make lifelong friends that sometimes come in handy later in life, you can build on each other's strengths to complete a task more quickly and efficiently, the list goes on and on...

Describe the benefits of working alone

One can highlight their individuality, that is one's own strong points without competition from another in a group. One can also discover their own personal weaknesses, something that may not be possible if one has the strength and different perspectives of a group to cover for one's fallacies.

What was your worst working experience?

Just one? Being threatened by a coworker and then being put to work with him.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Maturity does not come with age but with experience.

What unique skills do you have?

I'm hopeless without challenges. Even if that challenge is to stick to a routine. So I'm always pushing myself to do better.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Medical doctor.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Playing CSR, Psychologist, Paramedic, Maintenance guy and Police Officer are all aspects of my job. You have to interact with all kinds of people, help those with medical problems that decide to faint or have a seizure every now and then, chase after bandits and the list goes on.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The lack of appreciation and pay. Not worth risking one's life on a regular basis. But all of that comes with the job.

Please replace this with a question of your own

Can an employee feel comfortable talking to you, the employer?

How can potential employers contact you?

ranks555@hotmail.com or shabba.deleon@gmail.com
