Looking for job in summer (June 2010-September 2010)What type of job are you looking for? I would like to find some bar work over summer 2010 as with my fun-loving, bubbly personality I always fit in well behind a bar. I'd also like to experience working in another country doing what I love which is serving customers and preparing beverages. What nationality are you? I am English. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I am fluent in English and have a small knowledge and understanding of Spanish and French. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I'd love to find work in Greece or somewhere similar for sun, sea and sand. What countries have you worked in? Just England. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Just England. What field do you currently work in? I'm currently at university in Bath in my 2nd year so am keen to find a summer job from June 2010 - September 2010 abroad. What fields have you worked in before? Shop work, bar person, administration assistant, cleaner. What qualifications do you hold? 10 GCSE's - Grades A-C BTEC National diploma in Popular Music - Equivalent of 3 'A' Levels (B,B,C) English Language intensive 'A' Level - C BA HONS Creative Writing Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I feel that both are just as important as each other. Describe the benefits of working with others I am a good team member as I have a bubbly and fun-loving personality and will talk to anyone! Its always good to have support from the other people you work with and also give support to the people you work with. Also, I have made friends in the past from employment that are still my friends now! Describe the benefits of working alone Working off your own iniative feels so much more rewarding than being told to do something a certain way, you find your own work pattern when working alone. What was your worst working experience? Worst working experience would be when I was alot younger and worked as a paper delievery person! What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never stop trying. What unique skills do you have? I will help anyone out and my bubbly personality seems to cheer people up. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Singing in a jazz bar somewhere! I have always dreamt of being a singer since I studied music at college. But am hopefully going to be fulfill my dream job and go into primary school teaching when I have completed my degree. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I have a wide range of creative techniques ranging from songwriting to drawing and singing. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? There are none. Why do you think that you would be a good worker?
