Looking for work in Turkey.

What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for, bar,restaurant, office, tourism or hotel work in Turkey.

What nationality are you?

I am British.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak English, conversational french and portugese and basic spanish.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking to work in Altinkum as I have been there many times and know the area well.

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked in England,Greece and Portugal.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

England and Europe.

What field do you currently work in?

I currently work in hospitality, helping to run a B&B in Portugal.

What fields have you worked in before?

I have worked in Customer service, sales, bar and restaurant and catering.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have 11 GCSE's. English-CCA Maths-CC Science-CC Art-C Drama-C French-B Food Technology-B. I am currently studying my A-Level Travel and Tourism which I will complete by April 2010 and so far have 4 A's.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are important. It is good to have experience and life skills aswell as some sound knowledge of the area you wish to work in.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others allows you to share ideas, keep motivated and help eachother.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone often means you are able to use your own initiative to come up with new ideas and are able to focus without distractions.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learnt to believe in my own abilities and that true hard work will have many benefits.

What unique skills do you have?

I have a skill for singing and am writing a book.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My dream job would be to work with the public abroad and help people to enjoy their holidays.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Meeting new people from day to day, researching activities for guests and learning the language.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Cleaning.

i am looking to work in marmaris, hopefully doing waitressing/bar work. I am 19 from England. I have been to marmaris 4 times and loved it, everyone is really friendly there and weather is great, i have currently done 3 years in hairdressing and now working as a retail assistant, my dream is to work in turkey. x
