What type of job are you looking for?

I have graduated in Business and Management so I would prefer something in my field. But I am up to anything related to Administration, PR, Marketing, E-commerce, Entertainment, Teaching, Translating, Caring for children.

What nationality are you?

I am Bulgarian, living in Izmir, I have a residence permit.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Bulgarian - native English - fluent Turkish - intermediate

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Izmir, Turkey because I live here now.

What countries have you worked in?

Bulgaria and the Netherlands

What fields have you worked in before?

Management, housekeeping, HORECA, NGO

What qualifications do you hold?

Summer of 2004 and 2005: Waitress in cafeteria and night club Sofia, Bulgaria

May 2006 – August 2006: Travel agency office secretary Sofia, Bulgaria

September 2006 – June 2008 Personal assistant in Groningen, the Netherlands

June 2003 – June 2006 Sofia, Bulgaria Volunteer in charity organization Had to find donators and raise funds for the organization. I was one of the most successful members of the organization. Acted as a salesperson and had to show outstanding presentation and persuasion skills. It helped me learn to work in favor of people.

September 2006 – July 2010 Business related project work at my university including Business plan for computer and video game club; Marketing analysis for Volvo Research on the level of English language among the my faculty’s students Analysis on the cultural differences between Turkey and Denmark Organizing and carrying out of entrepreneurial event ‘Bright Futures’ Research on the corporate social responsibility issues among cultures Analysis on the influence of online social media on human resources Graduation thesis ‘Recruitment of talented trainees for JTI in Bulgaria’ Tutoring in mathematics for freshmen; Instructor in an Introduction week for freshmen

August 2008 - January 2009: Assistant manager at Zorluer Tavukculuk in Izmir, Turkey My responsibilities included minor human resource activities, production control and reporting, negotiating with clients for discounts and keeping primary accounting documentation. I acquired skills regarding inventory, planning and control and problem solving and helped upgrading the department.

I am interested in people management, music, history literature, PR, group sports and ethno jewelry. My typical personality traits are being positive, helpful and committed to my goals. My useful skills include full MS Office capability, Internet services and applications, fluency in Bulgarian and English languages and intermediate knowledge in Turkish, and basic Spanish and Hungarian.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider them equally important. Without the proper base any house will fall no matter how beautiful the finish is.
