Hi My name's Marie and I'm originally from London but I've been living in Marmaris with my Turkish husband and our son. My son has now started creche so I'm really interested in finding a job now. I am a qualified nursery nurse with level III NVQ but will consider any position offered.

Hello everyone-

My name is Anthony and I am from NYC. I moved to Istanbul about 10 months ago after getting married to my new wife. :)

I did attend a Turkish language course trying desperately to learn the native tongue. I have much sales/managing experience from back in the States as I had worked for Ralph Lauren for 10 years and managed my father's real estate office in NYC for about 6 years and am now having a difficult time finding employment here in Istanbul. If anyone knows of any sales/marketing jobs please don't hesitate. I am all ears. Everytime I put something out there, like this letter, I always get the response of teaching English. But I am not certified to do so and have no idea where to even start. Unfortunately, I am also not fluent in Turkish. :(
