What type of jobs are you looking for and why?
This summer my friend, Roxy and I went to Turkey on holiday. At our hotel there was a fantastic animation team who entertained us with activities during the day and took us and other guests from the hotel out at night. The animation team made our holiday an amazing one and my friend an I have decided that in the summer of 2010 we would like to be part of an animation team, ideally we would like to work together over the summer period and would prefer a hotel which attracts young lively guests.
Why have you chosen to apply for this kind of job togither and what unique skills do you both have?
Roxy and I have been friends for over 10years now and we feel we have reached a stage in our lives where we want to do something different togither.
We are both 21, confident, full of energy and love working with people. We think we work well as a pair because we are full of fun and bring the best out in each other. We feel this is a good quality to have, especially working in the animation buisness because if we get on well then this will rub off on the guests at the hotel and contibute to them having a good holiday.
The unique skills we feel we have is the ability to make people laugh and have fun. Whether it be at us or with us! We can also be very creative and imaganitive which we think is a good quality to have in a animation team for creating games and shows for entertainment etc.
What nationality are you both?
We are both Scottish.
What country or area are you looking to work in and why?
We would love to work in the Bodrum/Gumbet area of Turkey. This is because we went there in June 2009 and September 2009, while we were there we fell in love with the atmosphere, the people and the area and we know we would love to be a part of the summer season there.
What languages do you speak (and at what level)?
We Speak English and are in the process of trying to learn some basic Turkish.
What field do you both currently work in?
In the UK I work in the retail industry and Roxy works in the resturant buisness, both jobs require working with the public on a daily basis, organising events and dealing with problems etc.
What qualifications do you both hold?
Between us we have a fare few school qualifications, both at standard grade level and higher level. At the moment i am currently studying 1st year buisness and HR at the University of the West of Scotland and Roxy is Studying Biology with Zoology at the same university, however she is in her final honors year.
What would you both consider as your 'dream job'?
Our dream job would be working togither in a hotel as part of the animation team in the Bodrum/Gumbet area of Turkey.
What are the most interesting aspects of the field you are interested in?
Working with people and having the chance to make there holiday fun filled and full of laughter. Also meeting people everyday would be very interesting and dealing with there different wants and needs.
