What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for english teaching work

What nationality are you?

New Zealand, European

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English fluently

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Istanbul, Turkey as this is where I am living currently

What countries have you worked in?

New Zealand, but not as a professional teacher

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

New Zealand

What field do you currently work in?

English Teaching

What fields have you worked in before?

Hospitality

What qualifications do you hold?

Have completed the inclass component and practice teaching for a level 4 teaching certificate, and am currently completeing paperwork to recieve my full certificate. Have complete my first year of a bachelor of arts degree majoring in Media studies and film. Am taking a year or so off to work overseas.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I think formal education is important but skills are almost more so because they can define the difference of weather or not someone is simply capable of doing there job or if they are really good at doing there job.

Describe the benefits of working with others

It is more rewarding and helpful to work with other people. It is also much better and more enjoyable to work in a social environment as apposed to a solo one. I think the main benefit is enjoying your work more and therefore being more productive in it.

Describe the benefits of working alone

I don't think they're are as many benefits to working alone. perhaps only that easily distracted people may work faster

What was your worst working experience?

working in retail, need i say more?

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

to respect and work with your colleagues, and to go to work everyday with a positive attitude and outlook

What unique skills do you have?

I am a very kind and caring person, always positive and willing to listen to others and work with people to achieve the best results.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

one that I enjoyed going to everyday, and had a great team of people to work with.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

I think all the different people you are able to meet and interact with and being able to help them learn something new that will help them in life.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

I dont think there are any
