| General PhysicianTo whom it may concern! I'm Dr.Monika Longchallon from Austria. I graduated from Medical University of Vienna in 1996. finishing my three years residency as a General Physician, I began to work in a joint Practice in Vienna as a Family Doctor.As a Western European GP, my Licence is valid for all European Countries ( England, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland etc...). I got married to Joseph who is a Canadian permanent resident in 2002. Having difficulty to find any position for him(as a Aircraft Eng.) I had to move to Vancouver British Colombia, Canada. I passed my Evaluation and Qualification Exams for Canada and worked in a clinic for 3 years. Working in an underserved area, aided me in gaining major experiences in medical as well as effective communication skills. I have been dealing with the patients from the entire spectrum encountered in a family practice from new born care, through minor surgery to chronic disease in the elderly. Not being able to adjust with the Canadian weather conditions, on June 2009, I left my family in Canada and decided to return to Europe in hope to find a warmer climate to live and practice my profession with my family. Since my return, I have been working in my Practice. In addition, I have shifts in "After Hour and Emergency Care Organisation" in Vienna. I have spent many years working as part of a team, specially in high stress situations. Due to the high demand for Physicians, my flexibility to move and having a husband From the Caribbean, I look forward to have the opportunity in getting a position in Turks and Caicos Islands . So I will be closer to my 24 y.o son, who is studying and living in Canada as well. Due to the warm climate, high Safety and Security in these Islands and being familiar with the Caribbean mentality, I believe it will be useful in bringing both European and North American Knowlege and Experience and continuing my life with my husband there. Furthermore, I also have a Diploma for Emergency Care, Substitutions treatment for Drug Addiction and Tradational Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
