The country I have worked and currently working is Guyana. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I work in Guyana but I can obtain a visa to work in any caribbean country. What field do you currently work in? I am currently in the education field I am the head of the business studies department at a high school. business studies include accounting business economics and office administration. I also teach mathematics at the higher levels. What fields have you worked in before? I work in the accounting field I am a part time accountant for which I have a diploma and degree in accounting. What qualifications do you hold? Diploma in accounting,degree in accounting trained teachers certificate majoring in mathematics and minor science; craft certificate in electrical installation; diploma in computerized accounting Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I believe both formal education and skills are important but formal education is more valuable this is reflected in the disparity in remuneration received between someone obtaining formal education and someone learning a skill the starting salary of someone who has invested in formal education and those who obtained a skill ultimately the. Most valuable is havingboth but I believe formal education and skill training should become in unison if this is not possible formal education first I do believe in the old addage education is golden I know this to be true from personal experience. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others has many benefits a network of experts give and receive support being able to socialize with persons of common interests Describe the benefits of working alone My preference, working alone achieves great focus and drive.Working alone helps to filter out negative influences What was your worst working experience? My worse working experience was when my boss My boss kept asking me for money I had just started working not earning alot and supporting myself through university I felt bad at times to say I don't have because she was older but she was earning far more than me What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never try to run from a bad situation, deal with it overcome it, conquer it,use it as a stepping stone when you run without dealing with a bad situation you run right back into one What unique skills do you have? My unique skills are that I actually enjoy being in highly stressful situations and keeping my cool, thinking clearly and I am also an effective listener. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working in an environment where constructive and uplifting change is embraced and not resisted What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting thing about my field are the people teachers and students I find that students are most times not always a reflection of the teacher even if the teacher is being pretensive What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least interesting thing is that being promoted is not based on capability but years of experience and qualification. Why are you the best person for the job?
