Initially i trained as a professional teacher, before furthering my studies in a new field of accounting. What qualifications do you hold? I hold a bachelor of commerce(Accounting) from Makerere University,Kampala. Currently, am pursuing an accounting professional course at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. Which do you cons.ider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are relevant because formal education enables one to develop the skills easily. Describe the benefits of working with others It promotes team work with minimal errors as there is sharing of knowledge and skills. Describe the benefits of working alone It encourages more concentration on work leading to increased output. What was your worst working experience? Working alone with out sharing work experience with others. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Not working in isolation but by sharing with other staff members. What unique skills do you have? Ability to cope up with challenges and easily understand the system of the organisation. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Bank manager or Auditor What are the most interesting aspects of your field? One gets exposed to a variety of clients in diferent places. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? More challenges as in performing audit tasks, some staff may not be cooperative in disseminating the required information for the exercise. Also challenges of lack of independence as auditor may be compromised.
