English and I have a bachelors Degree in Social Work and Social Administration From Uganda Christian University, Mukono What country or area are you looking to work in and why? In Uganda and other African Countries because i feel most of these Community development Issues are still common in Uganda and Africa Therefore i feel it as an opportunity for me to serve Uganda and Africa since they are still vulnerable in the area of my focus. What countries have you worked in? Uganda only What countries do you have a visa to work in? Only Uganda which is my mother County What field do you currently work in? Iam working in the field of Administration What fields have you worked in before? I worked in the Field of Child Protection and HIV/AIDS Combined and feel given opportunity i should build my career in that area not public service Administration that I am handling now What qualifications do you hold? Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration from Uganda Christian University, Mukono 2006 and Certificate in Law from Law Development Centre,Kampala 2009. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider Formal Education because it is developed from Childhood trainings at schools and plays a bigger role in ones Understanding and interpretation of facts and issues for Development and also helps in applicability of most of the skills.However, the skills are also important if well applied Describe the benefits of working with others It is the key for any development to occur since once a vision is developed it can not be put to practice without working with others. The human resource as described by many development practitioners,is The key resource therefore no one can develop without working with others. working with others leads to knowledge sharing and testing ones ability to handle various test. in short working with others alows open and constructive criticism which will always lack among people working alone. It also allows room for handling bigger tasks through other by way of delegating some roles which could have otherwise been difficult to fulfill as an individual. it allows continuity of the organization or business in case the proprietor dies, others can easily take over since most of the roles are already known by other staff members. Describe the benefits of working alone Working a lot helps one to make quick decisions which could have otherwise been difficult while working with other. It is a safer and convenient way to start business since little resources in for of labour and financial capital may be required and properly be managed. What was your worst working experience? When i got exposed to the child with HIV/AIDS who had been infected by some one maliciously. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? That every person is important in an Organization or business and should be treated as i would have liked to be treated. What unique skills do you have? Decision making, Resilience,emotional Control What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being a Director of any Humanitarian Organization in the World. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I Joining a university and finally graduating since i was the first in my Clan to get a degree and every one was happy about it.
