What field do you currently work in? currently am a student What fields have you worked in before? I worked with Makerere University ( human Resource department)as an intern What qualifications do you hold? - UCE AND UACE certificates. - Computer and Administrative law certificates. - Bachelors Degree in Public Administration (Islamic University in Uganda) - Attended a training for Enterprise Uganda and also got a certificate. - Currently am pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration and am in my final year.( Makerere University Business School) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think both are very important. It is through theory that we develop the practical skills, theory helps us to enrich the practical skills for example theories of management when properly understood by managers helps them to be equipped with good management skills and lastly it is difficult to train a person who does not know the theory of the subject matter. Describe the benefits of working with others - Short time completion of tasks. - Learning from others who are more experienced. - Easily motivated. - Strengthens interpersonal relationships. - Net working Describe the benefits of working alone - Quick and easy decision making - High concentration levels What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? People are the most important resources in the organization and once handled well, the organization can be in position to attain its vision.
