Uganda What field do you currently work in? Iam currently finishing a Bachelors degree in Food Technology at Makerere University in Uganda. What fields have you worked in before? I have taught Food and Nutrition. What qualifications do you hold? I will be finishing my Undergraduate degree in May 2012. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills are more valuable. For a field like food processing,you need to have the skills so that you can produce a quality product for your customers/consumers. Describe the benefits of working with others When you work with others you get many ideas and if well handled, you can make a product that meets consumer's expectations. This will give you an upperhand against the competitors. Describe the benefits of working alone For certain critical operations working alone lowers the chances of making mistakes. What was your worst working experience? The lack of the spirit of team work amongst the workers. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have to genuinely care about the colleagues I work with. What unique skills do you have? I can listen and communicate with all people. I can also objectively plan. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would like to lead a team that makes quality products. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Every one has to eat, so when you produce something that many people prefer,you are in business. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
