What unique skills do you have? •Expert to perform all diagnose in the vehicle and carry out the job as per manufacturer standard •Deliver the highest technical standard, workmanship & quality from the workshop staff in order to assure total customer satisfaction •Supervise the workshop, work distribution and its staff to achieve maximum productivity. •Maintain a comprehensive library of Technical literature. •Train & coach Technical staffs. •Audit Workshop standards and quality of repairs on regular basis. •Ensure Workshop Control Boards are being operated correctly to monitor work distribution between main Workshop and Body shop. (if applicable, Express Service facilities) •Audit regularly Work Write-ups/worksheets to ensure they are written up and recorded accurately. •Ensure adequate supply of Clean Service Kits and vehicle protection aids are used at all times. •Instruct Team leaders /Mechanics concerning repair procedures. •Co-ordinate Workshop staff training plan with the Training Manager, internal & external. •Ensure that Technicians are conversant with Service and Workshop bulletins, rules and safety matters and maintain discipline. •Audit additional worksheets are completed correctly together with any time extension to original completion deadline. •Test drive vehicles after completion of work when necessary, to monitor quality control. •Ensure adequate workshop staffs are available for the required workshop loadings. Ensure that time control procedures are adhered to. •Be responsible for general order & cleanliness in the Workshop. Ensure that tools, special tools, equipment and Workshop literature are complete and up to date. •Ensure that all Warranty work carried out complies with Manufacturers terms and conditions. •Monitor replacement and exchange parts are returned for claim. •Advise Service Adviser and Technicians whether work is retail/warranty/internal and ensure Technicians retain parts when required. •Arrange Emergency Service or overtime cover as specified by Service Manager. •Provide technical backup for Service Advisors and technical information when necessary to customers. •Ensure to conversant with all Technical updates.
