Our Client is a leading bank in the United Arab Emirates, headquartered in the country's capital, Abu Dhabi, one of the most exciting places to be in the world today.
A FINANCE OFFICER/FINANCIAL CONTROL OFFICER is urgently required.
Your KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
Preparation of various management and regulatory reports, monthly Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and supporting schedules.
Implementation of Accounting policies, practices, and procedures.
Ensuring proper internal control of accounting and related areas.
Preparing management control reports comparing actual versus planned budgetary performance.
Serve as a liaison between Bank personnel and independent auditors in connection with Bank audits.
Make appropriate recommendations to achieve short and long-term objectives for the Bank's financial reporting operations and operating system design, configuration, and programming requirements.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Bachelors degree graduate and with Accounting qualification.
Minimum 3 years experience in banking.
Should be currently working in a Finance Department or Audit Department of the bank.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Banking experience within the UAE.
Preferably Arab or Filipino Nationals.
